It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me. :la:

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Youmacon and Beyond

Hey there, NYCC was a fantastic time. It was definitely a full weekend and I was busy as hell. I didn't enjoy dragging my suitcases all over that city, but convention times were great. I even got the chance to shoot new Power Girl images with :iconjaytablante: I can't wait to see how they turn out!

My next convention is Youmacon in Detroit, MI then I am done for the year. I probably won't be bringing any costumes with me. I intend to use the winter months to relax and get cracking on some serious costumes and art for next year.  I have also been busy with many modeling sets, and will be posting them as I get the images back from the photographers. Take care everyone!
